Vegetable Salad with Fried Crispy Tokwa and Sweet Tangy Mustard Dressing

Easy to prepare vegetable salad tossed with a mustard vinaigrette and top with crunchy fried tokwa. Gourmet salad in a jiffy!

INGREDIENTS

1 head iceberg lettuce, medium size, shred into bite size pieces
1 medium size carrots, sliced into rings
1 medium size pipino, seeded, sliced into rings
1 stalk celery, sliced
2 pieces tomatoes, seeded, sliced into rings
4 pieces tokwa, fried and cubed

Sweet Tangy Mustard Dressing, whisk together:

2 tbsp mustard
¼ cup cane vinegar
¼ cup honey
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp MAGGI MAGIC SARAP
Salt and pepper to taste

PROCEDURE

  1. Arrange lettuce, carrots, pipino, celery and tomatoes in a bowl. Set aside in the refrigerator to chill.

  2. When ready to serve, toss prepared salad ingredients with the Sweet Tangy Mustard Dressing. Top with fried tokwa.
