Seafood Marinara

INGREDIENTS

50g shrimp, chopped (optional)
½ kg tahong with shells, washed and cleaned
2 (250g) cans stewed tomatoes
½ cup tomato paste
4 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 8g MAGGI MAGIC SARAP
½ teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
6 tablespoons olive oil
1/3 cup finely diced onion
1/2 cup white wine (optional)

PROCEDURE

  1. In a food processor place shrimp, tomatoes, tomato paste, parsley, garlic, oregano, MAGGI MAGIC SARAP, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat olive oil. Sauté the finely chopped onion in olive oil for 2 minutes. Add the blended tomato sauce and white wine. Add tahong and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Simmer for 30 minutes stirring occasionally over low heat. Top over angel’s hair or fetuccini pasta that has been cooked al dente.
