Pork Chop Casserole

The tantalizing trio of pork, cheese, and potatoes makes for an irresistibly nutritious dish.

INGREDIENTS

8-10 boneless and skinless pork chops
1 sachet MAGGI MAGIC SARAP 8g
¼ cup cooking oil
½ kg potato, sliced into thin rounds
1 onion, sliced into thin rounds
1 pack NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream 250ml
½ cup cheese spread, melted in the microwave for 30 seconds
Pinch of MAGGI MAGIC SARAP
Juice of ½ lemon
¼ cup butter
¼ cup parsley

PROCEDURE

  1. Rub pork chops with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP. Leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Sear pork chops for 2-3 minutes each side. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. On a large baking dish arrange pork chops followed by potato and onions. Set aside.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine cream, cheese spread, MAGGI MAGIC SARAP and lemon.
  5. Pour over potatoes, making sure that the entire dish is covered with cheese sauce. Dot with butter. Bake on a 350 degrees F oven. Cook for 1 hour or until pork is thoroughly cooked.
  6. Garnish with parsley before serving.
