Prep Time: 25 minutes plus 2 hours to allow to set
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup water
2-3 tbsp white or yellow unflavored gelatin
½ cup water
1 cup condensed milk
½ cup evaporated milk
¾ cups NESTLE Fresh Milk
4 tbsp vanilla
In a llanera, boil sugar and water until caramelized. Be careful not to burn. Tilt the llanera back and forth to evenly distribute the caramel. Set aside.
In a bowl, dissolve the gelatine powder in water. Set aside to bloom.
Pour condensed milk, evaporated milk and NESTLE Fresh Milk in a pot. Allow to simmer without boiling over low heat. Add vanilla and stir frequently. Pour in the gelatine mixture and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes while stirring constantly until gelatin is dissolved.
Remove the pot from the heat. Gently pour the mixture on top of the prepared caramel.
Refrigerate until firm. Transfer on a plate before serving.
