Crispy Papaya Okoy

INGREDIENTS

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
½ tsp ground pepper
1 sachet MAGGI MAGIC SARAP 8g
1 cup water
1 piece egg, beaten
3 cups grated green papaya
1 cup togue
oil for frying

Vinegar Dip: Combine-
½ cup vinegar
¼ cup chopped onion
1 tsp. sugar
¼ cup MAGGI Savor, Classic

PROCEDURE

  1. In a bowl combine flour, salt and pepper and MAGGI MAGIC SARAP. Pour in water and beaten egg.  Add grated papaya and togue, continue mixing until mixture is combined enough to form a patty.
  2. Heat oil. Fry prepared papaya patties in hot oil until crispy and golden brown.  Drain in paper towels to remove excess oil. Serve with vinegar dip on the side.
