Barbecue Marinade

Here’s a small step to make meat tender and extra juicy, while delivering a spicy kick in every bite.

INGREDIENTS

½ cup vinegar
Juice of 10 calamansi
¼ cup chopped garlic
1 cup brown sugar
5 pieces chopped sili labuyo
2 8g MAGGI MAGIC SARAP
Salt and pepper to taste
¼ cup chili sauce or hot sauce
¼ cup banana catsup
1 kilo pork or chicken or combination

Basting Sauce: Combine –
½ cup banana catsup
¼ cup cooking oil
1 tbsp MAGGI MAGIC SARAP

PROCEDURE

  1. In a bowl, combine ingredients for marinade. Whisk to fully incorporate.
  2. Marinate pork or chicken for at least 2 hours.
  3. Grill while basting with the basting sauce for 10-15 minutes each side or until cooked
